There are many different types of financial and moral compensation as a result of traffic accidents. The first thing that comes to mind is the lawsuit demanding financial compensation, which is the subject of the compensation of the defective persons who received continuous support from the person who died after a fatal traffic accident until the moment of the accident, or the insurance company that issued the traffic policy of the defective vehicle. Those who are deprived of support may be the relatives of the person who died as a result of the traffic accident, or other people who do not have a kinship relationship but prove that they have received support from the deceased until the day of the accident.
If an injury occurred in a traffic accident, the injured person may file a material and moral compensation case himself. Financial compensation due to loss of workforce that the injured person will suffer due to disability during his / her working life; He may also claim non-pecuniary compensation due to the pain, grief and sadness he suffered due to a traffic accident.
If a serious bodily injury has occurred due to a traffic accident, relatives of the injured person (mother, father, spouse, children, fiancee) can only file a "moral compensation case" (BK art.56). In the practice of the Supreme Court, "severe bodily injury" is accepted as the loss of a limb or the inability to perform vital functions of the injured person. For example; loss of an eye, amputation of an arm or foot, etc. Such situations are considered as severe bodily injury.
